The Covid 19 Pandemic could not restrict ARC to continue their outreach programmes and remain connected with the outside world.
The Advanced Research Centre had organized and successfully conducted events as National Webinars in the recent past:
Advanced Research Centre in association with Department of Applied Biology, USTM had conducted a National Webinar on “Recent Advances in Biotechnology and Microbial Infection” held on May 26, 2021. The guests of honour in this event were Professor Asad U Khan, Head Department of Interdisciplinary Biotechnology, Aligarh Muslim University and Professor Probodh Borah, Head Department of Animal Biotechnology, Assam Agricultural University.
A Two-Days National Webinar was conducted by Advanced Research Centre, USTM with the title “Utilization and Maintenance of Sophisticated Analytical Instruments in Research” on Aug 07 and Aug 08, 2021. The guest speakers of the event were Professor (Dr) Sheetal Bhasin, Head Department of Biosciences, Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences, Indore; Dr Laksmikanta Adak, Asst. Professor, IIEST Shibpur, Howrah and Dr Ujjal Bhattacharjee, Asst. Professor, IIEST Shibpur, Howrah.
